I was born in 1944 in Hitchin, England.
My first class at Blacky State was Grade 4.
What I liked most about school was the interaction with the other kids, friendship and learning about the things around us.
I liked playing with my mates as it was more adventurous and all outdoor activities.
My first girlfriend was Ellan Waite (Blackburn High School)
I walked along Maple Street going to school and my class mates were Bruce Headford, David Ratten and Ian Story.
Leaving High Blackburn High School I joined the Fire Brigade.

I was one of those “Lost Legends” and so glad the “Class’57” continues to search for us and I really look forward to catching up with many I haven’t seen for many years.
I married tenuously and have a son Stephen 30 and daughter 28. Also have step children Mark 23, Marlya 21 and Daniel 10.
My father has passed away and mother is 83.
The greatest challenge in life was accepting things I cannot change and the best thing that happened was coming to Australia. My future would be enjoying a long and happy life.
